In response to a public request, the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is reopening the rulemaking record and is scheduling a virtual public hearing on the Agency's proposed rule published on July 1, 2025, titled, "Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) in Underground Mines."
Comments are due December 8, 2026. Submit through the link above or follow the instructions in the document's ADDRESSES section. Say who you are, how the rule affects you, and what should change, with evidence. Comments are usually public, so leave out anything private.
